Edward Johnson

Edward Johnson joined Rockport Mortgage Corporation in April of 2021 and currently serves as Assistant Controller. In this capacity, he is responsible for assisting with processing payments to third-parties and invoicing clients during the loan underwriting process. In addition, Edward also assists with in house accounting procedures as well as all aspects of HR, IT, and communication goals.

Prior to his time at Rockport Mortgage, Edward began his career as a Tax Associate at Kevin P. Martin & Associates. While at KPM, he worked in tax services along with helping small business get set up with automated accounting systems online. After KPM, he joined Cabot- Wellington as a Staff Accountant where he maintained accounting records for the family’s various charitable foundations, LLCs, and legal entities as well as preparing financial statements and budget reports.

Edward earned his B.S. in Accounting from Curry College and is currently pursuing his M.B.A from the Carrol School of Management at Boston College.
