Brian Kean

Brian Kean joined Rockport Mortgage Corporation in June of 2017 and currently serves as a Vice President, Originations. In this role, In this role, Brian is responsible for originating FHA multifamily financing through the development of new and existing borrower relationships. His work encompasses the acquisition, refinancing, substantial rehabilitation, and new construction of market-rate and affordable rental housing communities.

Brian has more than 15 years of experience in multifamily housing and has worked extensively with both for-profit and non-profit owners and developers. He began his career at Rockport as an Underwriting Analyst, supporting a MAP underwriting team and gaining experience in the underwriting and execution of FHA-insured multifamily transactions. Brian also completed the FHA Multifamily Underwriting Training Program in 2023.

Prior to joining Rockport Mortgage, Brian worked for WinnResidential as a Property Manager, overseeing multifamily communities on behalf of ownership groups specializing in affordable housing throughout Greater Boston. His experience in property operations, FHA underwriting, and loan originations provides him with a broad perspective on the financing and long-term operation of multifamily housing.

Brian holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the Carroll School of Management at Boston College and a B.A. in Political Science from Fairfield University.
