Brian Kean

Brian Kean joined Rockport Mortgage Corporation in June of 2017 and currently serves as a Vice President, Originations. In this role, Brian is responsible for originating new FHA business for Rockport Mortgage through new and existing borrower relationships. Brian focuses on all phases of business development and loan sourcing efforts, specifically those focused on the acquisition, refinance, substantial rehabilitation and new construction of market-rate and affordable rental housing communities.

Brian has more than 10 years’ experience in multifamily housing and has worked extensively with both for-profit and non-profit developers in various capacities. Upon joining Rockport Mortgage, Brian served as an Underwriting Analyst in which he supported a MAP underwriting team.

Prior to joining Rockport Mortgage, Brian worked for WinnResidential as a Property Manager overseeing the portfolios of various ownership groups that specialize in providing affordable housing throughout Greater Boston.

Brian completed the FHA Multifamily Underwriting Training Program in 2023. He holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the Carroll School of Management at Boston College in Chestnut Hill, Massachusetts, and graduated from Fairfield University in 2011 with a B.A. in Political Science.
