Ed has recently joined the Rockport Mortgage team as an underwriter. Prior to joining Rockport, Ed was a partner at a regional CPA firm. He has a broad base of financial experience and served a wide range of industries during his 21 years in public accounting.
The industries included the construction, nursing home, multifamily, various health care providers as well as the non-profit industry. He has experience with attest services, business planning, financial forecasting, merger and acquisition, succession planning and tax planning. He brings both the financial and consulting experiences with him to Rockport Mortgage.
Ed holds a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting from Assumption College, Worcester, MA, Master in Business Administration from Babson College, Wellesley, MA. He earned his C.P.A. License in 1993 and is a member of the AICPA and Massachusetts Society of CPA?s.Ed resides in Woburn, MA with his wife and four children.
Skip joined Rockport Mortgage Corporation in February 2012 as an originator, but also helps with the structuring, underwriting and processing of all FHA insured transactions, with a focus on healthcare transactions under HUD?s new LEAN program.
After graduating from college in 2003, Skip was employed by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development. He began his career as a Project Manager in the Boston HUD office, where he worked on many of the Multi-Family programs, including the 202-811 grant program, the Risk Sharing program, as well as the 223(f) and the 223(a)7 of both healthcare properties and multifamily developments.
In 2008 when HUD developed the LEAN program to process and manage its healthcare portfolio, Skip was chosen to be a member of the LEANteam and moved to the Seattle HUD office, where he spent close to a year training as a HUD LEAN underwriter. In 2009 he returned to the Boston office and worked as a LEAN underwriter until 2012.
Lori joined Rockport Mortgage Corporation in October of 2011 as a Loan Coordinator for applications submitted under FHA’s multifamily and healthcare mortgage insurance programs. In this capacity, she works closely with our clients, third-party due diligence providers, and the RMC underwriting team to ensure accuracy and completeness of loan exhibits to facilitate the submission of these applications to HUD.
Prior to joining RMC, Lori was employed at Verizon Communications for twelve years as a Service Representative and an Escalation Specialist. There, Lori worked in Verizon’s Wholesale Division where she facilitated the leasing of Verizon lines to telecommunications affiliates. Lori was responsible for analyzing discrepancies, coordinating with numerous internal departments and implementing correctiveactions in order to resolve service and billing issues for priority troubled accounts.
