Joseph MuellerPresident978-675-2001 Joe is the President and one of the founders of Rockport Mortgage Corporation. Established in 1992, Rockport Mortgage Corporation has grown from a start-up into one of the top ten firms nationally specializing in HUD/FHA insured commercial project loans. Joe has a national reputation as an expert in restructuring complex affordable housing projects, as well as providing funding for the acquisition, refinance, new construction, and substantial rehabilitation of market rate apartments, nursing homes, and assisted living facilities.

Prior to founding Rockport Mortgage Corporation, Joe was employed as an Economist for the U.S. Department of Commerce from 1975 to 1980. In 1981, he started a software company, Business Decision Systems, that developed computer based financial and credit analysis models for money center banks and Fortune 500 companies. After selling the company in 1985, Joe joined GMAC Mortgage and subsequently Reinlein\Lieser\McGee originating FHA, FNMA, Freddie Mac, and other conventional loans for income producing properties.

Joe has a Bachelor of Science in Economics from St. Louis University, and a Master of Science in Economics from Cornell University. He also has an MBA in Finance.
